Managers

“Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it’s amazing what they can accomplish.” – Sam Walton

Are you looking for advice? suggestions? workshops and courses? involving working with young children for your staff? Then you have come to the right place!

KEC provides services such as:

1. New services package

If you are thinking of opening a centre/preschool then KEC can provide support. It can come in many forms, whether it’s choosing a suitable venue, finding suitable names for the centre, discussing philosophy differences or providing professional development.
This is tailormade according to the needs and proposal of the management team.

2. Existing service package

Centres/preschools requiring assistance to re-energise their centre due to a change in management, different clientele groups, or staffing team can rely on KEC to motivate the team. All areas are covered.
This is tailormade according to the needs and proposal of the management team.

3. Centre Policy/Procedure development

All centres are expected to have policies and procedures in place. But sometimes though it is hard to know where to start if you haven’t got experience in this area or you just need someone objective to check what you have already done.

KEC creates policies for centres adjusting to the philosophy, goals and delivery methods. We also revise old policies and can work on specific procedures required. Please ask for more information.

4. Mentoring and coaching Managers

Mentoring
Discuss issues with an experienced ex- Childcare Director/Manager who actively listens and can provide individual and centre support.

Coaching
If the manager has had little or no experience in the area of Early Childhood or ESL, then KEC can provide one on one support or with a small group.

Centre requests
KEC is flexible enough to be able to work with individual managers or Board members keen to know more about the Early Childhood area.
Please ask us if you have a specific request.

5. Observations of the centre, staff, teachers, and/or children.

The centre can be assessed overall according to quality criteria.
Detailed observations serve to provide positive feedback and suggestions to all staff and teachers individually or as a group depending on the centre’s/school’s needs.
KEC staff can attend a staff meeting if requested to provide information or to observe the team in action and give objective and constructive feedback.

6. Workshops for Managers.

Please see the WORKSHOPS section for specifics.
